Reverse Four and Two Headstock
This reverse Four and Two headstock is from the Troth guitar and has an Ebony overlay for extra strength as well as beauty. The headstock shaped truss cover, as well as the guitar's body backplate, is hand-carved from a piece of White Korina leftover from the body. I think I will use this headstock design, reverse and non-reverse, for several models. I swapped out the standard Sperzel buttons for these pearloid ones to match the volume and tone knobs.
Spacehaugh Three and Three Headstock
This Three and Three headstock is the headstock for the Spacehaugh guitar. This one also has an Ebony overlay for extra strength and looks. Also, the headstock shaped truss rod cover, and body backplate, are hand-carved from Korina leftover from the body. I love these Sperzel locking tuners because they super light and are reversable, meaning that you can change them from Three and Three to Six in Line, Four and Two or whatever you like.
Nova Three and Three Headstock
This Three and Three headstock is the headstock for the Bertram Nova guitar. This one also has an Ebony overlay for extra strength and looks. Also, the bookmatched truss rod cover and the EverTune backplate are made from the same piece of Koa as the top are hand-carved. The black locking tuners are super light and are reversable, meaning that you can change them from Three and Three to Six in Line, Four and Two or whatever you like.
Monarch Three and Three Headstock
This Three and Three headstock is the headstock for the Monarch guitar. This one boasts a Claro Walnut overlay for extra strength and looks. The truss cover is Ebony and body backplate is also Claro Walnut, leftover from the top. Again we use Sperzel locking tuners because they super light and are reversable. You can change them into whatever configuration your heart desires.
