White Korina was used in the late 50s by Gibson in the production of their Flying Vee's and Explorers. White Korina never really caught a headwind in the guitar industry and has enjoyed limited use in the construction of guitars.
White Korina is a terrific tonewood. It is easly to work with and when oiled, waxed and buffed, produces a warm rich tone similar to that of Mahogany.
